Volunteer with Zero AMR Initiative

Young people are not only beneficiaries of this work. They are educators, researchers, advocates and community leaders within it. Volunteering is how most of our team started.

What volunteers actually do

  • Facilitate and support Community Circles in their own communities.
  • Deliver AMR education sessions in schools and universities.
  • Support WASH, hand hygiene and infection prevention activities.
  • Help gather community evidence through youth participatory action research.
  • Create and share accurate AMR information through digital and media campaigns.
  • Document activities and help tell the stories behind them.

What you can expect from us

We will be clear about what a role involves before you commit, give you the information and support to do it well, and credit your contribution. We are a young initiative, so we will also be honest about what we cannot yet offer.

Tell us how you would like to help

You do not need an AMR background. Tell us what you are interested in and where you are, and we will find a way for you to contribute.
