Why we tell stories
AMR can sound like a technical issue: resistance, microorganisms, antibiotics, surveillance, stewardship. But behind every technical term is a human reality. Someone who could not access appropriate treatment. Someone who took medicine without understanding it. Someone whose infection became harder to treat. Someone who learned that antibiotics do not treat every illness. Someone who prevented an infection before it required treatment. Someone who became an advocate.
Stories help people understand why action matters.
Our first stories are being gathered
We publish stories only with the consent of the people they belong to, and only once they have been checked with them. The first collection is being prepared now.
